Kingdom of Heaven review

I found this movie to be both exciting and interesting. It was a good movie even though some of the facts fall short of what really happened. There was no account what so ever of there being a romance between Sibylla and Balian. But it did add a good romance to the movie. Also Saladin didn't go straight to Jerusalem  after winning hattin. He tried to have an absolute victory by taking over every main city on the way to Jerusalem. Although if they had put this in the movie it would have been far to long of a film. There were some lines in the movie that someone back in the 12 century just wouldn't say. When Balians father is lying on his death bed he says he regrets all his sins, except for one. Referring to him conceiving his illegitimate son. Back in the 12th century a man about to meet God wouldn't have said he didn't regret all his sins this is a 21st century line squeezed in. This was a good film but just isn't historically accurate.
